Headmaster's Introduction

This is a unique experience for the Staff and the pupils of these two schools and is a first for Glenwood. I applaud the Organising Committee for the foresight and commitment to this worthwhile trip for our children and wish them all of the very best on their travels through Europe.

I know full well that these youngsters are grateful to their Parents and supporters for providing them with this unique opportunity and I also know that they will use the time wisely to soak up the traditions and sights of the cities and towns that they visit on their extensive tour.

As my Staff and boys are well aware, I am deeply envious of them as they embark on the wonderful experience and I certainly look forward to hearing from them as they make their way through countries steeped in history.

Enjoy every moment of your trip and show the Europeans true South African spirit.
