The 2010 Old Boys' Association Dinner was a huge success.
The annual Old Boys' Association Dinner presented new challenges to the OBA Committee. Never before had we had to cater to more than 430 Old Boys in the School Hall. We can cater for more than 400 boys and their partners at the Matric Dance every year, but some of our Old Boys have enjoyed a little too much of the successes of life and some found it a little difficult to move around at the tables!
The bar and the buffet also took a bit of pressure and so queues formed. We were worried but all it did was provide more opportunities for war-stories to be told.
The guest speaker, Mr Hugh Bladen, was excellent.
Well done to all concerned. This will be a hard act to follow in 2011!
