The Band were invited to perform at the Moses Mabhida Stadium last week. Well done to Mr Stengel and his team!

Mr Stengel and his Team presented us with a most pleasing musical event on Friday afternoon.

It was wonderful to see young men playing musical insturments as well singing for the appreciative audience.

Well done to Mr Stengel and his Team! Thanks also to The Open Air School for taking the time to come along and support our boys.

Lunchtime Concert in the Palm Courtyard

The Glenwood High School Band and the DGHS Drummies marched through the streets of Glenwood on Saturday.

It was a wonderful feeling to follow the festive atmosphere of the marchers and I must admit that I mentioned to a few people walking with me behind the Glenwood Band that we should do this sort of thing more often.

The Glenwood Band Drum Major holds the certificates of merit that the Glenwood Band received in Emapngeni last weekend at the National Band competition.

The Glenwood Choir and Band performed recently at the Penzance Choir evening as well as at the National Bands? Competition in Empangeni. Their performances were very well received.

An aggressive recruitment campaign this term has seen the addition of several Grade 8s to the brass section and a second bagpiper from Grade 11.
