A big congratulations goes out to our Grade 11 pupil, Arthur Faulkner, who recently won the Regional Toastmasters Final held at Danville Girls High. Arthur spoke in the Impromptu Division and had to debate whether "Teenagers deserve an allowance". It’s the first time in the competition that it was a unanimous decision amongst the 15 judges to award Arthur with the trophy.
The Kwa-Zulu Natal Toastmasters' final meeting was held on 20 November 2010. William Middleton was placed second in the Impromptu speech category. Congratulations William.
Ruan Grobbler of Form V did very well indeed in the semi-finals of the Toastmasters Competition this Saturday. He won the Impromptu section and came second in the prepared speeches. Well done Ruan and good luck for the next round.
