Art Department report.

The boys of Grade 10, 11 and 12 visited the KZNSA gallery at the beginning of this term.  They were visually stimulated by the variety of works from the members of the gallery.  The learners observed the many different styles, techniques and materials used.  It was evident that the boys enjoyed the outing and were positively inspired by the art on display.  The boys are highly motivated and their goal is to strive to produce art works of a high quality.  We (visual arts department) are currently working on art works which will express the learner's involvement in his school.  The outcome of this theme will be displayed towards the end of this term.  This exhibition of works by all the visual arts learners will be part of the many art displays to celebrate Glenwood's centenary year.
