Some of the term two artwork of our Grade 10, 11 and 12 art classes is presently on display on the mezzanine level of the Glenwood High School library. After complaining bitterly about how stressed they were at how much work was involved and how they never realised how demanding their subject was, the boys have come up with some interesting work and have shown what talent is yet to be unleashed during the second half of the year. The boys now realise that hard work is rewarding.
The Grade 12 learners are working hard towards their final matric exhibition at the end of the third term. This display of art will be assessed as their practical year mark.
Over the last few months the boys have been exposed to various demonstrations, techniques in art, use of variety of art materials and have been encouraged to apply and extend their own input and creativity in their work.
