We have a very healthy First Aid Club here at Glenwood High School. The boys are very active in doing duties every day after school as well as a variety of sporting activities, eg. Rugby, Hockey, Soccer, Cycling and Cross Country.
The boys have the opportunity to qualify in the different levels and eventually earn their colours in this activity through hard work and dedication. Doing First Aid is also to their advantage when applying at university as they score points as it is seen as a form of community service. Many of our rugby players also qualify in First Aid and perform their duties at matches after they have completed their own games.
It is very necessary for each and every youngster to get involved in First Aid, for the values and lessons they learn here, can be used for the rest of their lives.
