Glenwood supports locals and the National Team.

Glenwood showed their support for AmaZulu FC just prior to the Nedbank Challenge Final and also for our National Football Team in the upcoming World Cup!

Glenwood Old Boys, Clive Barker (ex National Coach) and Wade Du Plessis (ex-National player) joined us for the celebration.

From left to right: Stephen Howard, the Glenwood Soccer Academy coach; Fred Zeilinga, Glenwood 1^st XV Rugby Team Captain holding the trophy which the 1^st XV Rugby Team won in 2008 as winners of the Sanix Youth World Rugby Tournament in Japan, the team ended in 3^rd position in 2009; Shaun Adendorff, 8^th man for the Glenwood 1^st XV Rugby Team, Old Boys, Clive Barker,  currently manages Premier Soccer League club AmaZulu. He guided the South African national team to their only African Nations Cup title in 1996. Under his guidance South Africa qualified for their first ever World Cup and Wade du Plessis, former Bafana Bafana goalkeeper.
