Glenwood's 1st VI Squash ends in second place.

The SA Top Schools' Squash Tournament took place this weekend at Epworth School in PMB.

The Glenwood 1st XI were highly regarded and they did not disappoint. They played thorugh their pool games in convincing manner and then played Grey College in the semi-final on Saturday afternoon. They won this fixture with aplomb and were confident of a good showing in the final against the strong Selbourne Team.

The final on Sunday morning saw the order of play being drawn out of a hat and so the playing order perhaps surprised the Glenwood boys somewhat.

The final ended up as 3 - 3 in matches but with the 6th player not counting, Selbourne won the title on the day. Well done to Selbourne for playing with heart and mind. The Glenwood team was obviously disappointed but can hold their heads high for doing so well on the way to the final.

Thanks to Epworth for hosting the event and well done to everyone involved in the Tournament.
