Highly successful Centenary Hockey Festival ends.
The highly successful Glenwood High School Hockey festival ended at lunch time today and by all accounts was enjoyed by all. The hockey was of the highest order and the games were played in the right spirit. Many of these players will be seen in Provincial Teams later this year and some may well be selected to National Teams.
It is indeed gratifying to see a festival such as this come together and special thanks must go to all the visiting schools with their coaches and players. There was also a great deal of support for all Teams and thanks must go to the Parents whom provided the necessary support for their sons.
Well done to Mr B Carolan and his Team of helpers and Umpires; a job well done.
