The NMR Function.
The Natal Mounted Rifles celebrated its 156th Birthday on Tuesday 23 March 2010 . Glenwood High School has been affiliated to the NMR since 1936 and so the bonds go back 74 years . Ex NMR members , Citizen Force Regiments , and friends of the NMR were all invited to the cocktail party . In the photo are Sergeant Major Neville Alexander [ well known to all the boys of Glenwood ] , Mr Kevin Jordan [ representing Glenwood ] , Mr Doug Kirton [ ex Glenwood parent ] and Lieutenant – Colonel Mike Rowe , Officer Commanding Natal Mounted Rifles .
