Business Economics Report 2003

Mrs J Adams - Subject Head

The 2002 Matric Business Economics learners attained some excellent results and we are very proud of them. We look forward to even better results from our 2003 learners.

The Business Economics learners have had a very exciting year and have thoroughly enjoyed all the tours they have been taken on. Tours have included Bakers Biscuits, The South African Reserve Bank (where learners were given a newly printed pack of R200 notes, valued at R2 million, to hold), Beacon Sweets and Chocolates, Debonaires Pizza and Toyota at Prospecton.

The experiences and knowledge gained by learners, will never be forgotten and we will continue to strive towards stimulating the interest of our learners in the business world, with it enormous vocational possibilities so that potential entrepreneurship can be developed.

We are very sad to say good bye to Ms N. Cawood. We wish her all the best in her future plans and thank her sincerely for all her hard work and commitment to the subject and the learners. We are all going to miss you.
