Success for Durban and Districts and KZN Selection

The Glenwood High School team has again won the Durban and Districts High School League. Glenwood enjoyed a successful season winning all but one of their matches in the round-robin section. In the final the competition was strong but in a tense finish the team emerged worthy winners. Glenwood have won the trophy each year since 2002.

The team was represented by Kavish naidoo (Captain), Mayur Singh, Riaz Bux, Andile Ngidi, Ayanda Ngidi, Onashen Pillay, Julian van Biljon, Wesley Ward, Augusto Luyo Sanchez, Lavorkan madurai, Julian, Theolin Pillay and Lushen Thaver.

Our pupils also did well at the KZN Chess Trials and the following were selected: For the U16 team: Riaz Bux, Loushen Thaver, Julian van Biljon and Theolin Pillay. For the U20 team: Mayar Singh, Onashen Pillay and Kavish Naidoo.
