Glenwood Dominate KZN Chess Selections

Eight Glenwood boys were selected for the KwaZulu-Natal chess team at the trials held during the the July holidays. Further trials will be held this term to determine "board order" and whether they will play in the A or B teams. The squads will then play in the National tournament at the end of the year.

Henri Oliver was a member of the Chess South Africa and USSASA team that played in the World Schools Championships in Greece at the beginning of May. He had a great Tournament and thoroughly enjoyed the experience.
