Debating Review of 2004

We have had an exciting season in debating this year. Not only have the results reflected a very successful Debating year, but the interest, participation and commitment have been overwhelming.

Our year started off with an intense training program headed up by our expert coach, James Dray (UKZNHC President of Debating).Here new debaters were taught the technicalities of the World School Style of Debating but also given a chance to develop their confidence and speaking style. This culminated in our Grade 8 Evening where parents were given the opportunity to see their sons in action.

Highlights of the year would certainly have to include the St. Dominics Evening where we dined and debated against this touring side; and our evening with St Mary
