Swing Into Spring Charity Show


The Main Attractions: Karen Wood, Shelley McLean, Marion Louden and Kirsty Madgin

SWING into SPRING pays tribute to the music that sets everyone?s feet tapping on Saturday 1st September. The show features a seven-piece band, led by the Musical Director ?of note?, Evan Roberts and features the talents of well-known Durban musicians, John Stengel and Bruce Baker, as well as an exciting Brass Section, headed up by Tom Hare.

The dynamic ladies who will be taking centre stage, vocally, include Shelley McLean, Marion Loudon and Karen Wood. Together with Stengel, they will cover the music that everyone can relate to and enjoy.


From Michael Buble?s ?Spiderman? to Renee Olstead?s version of ?Summertime, this show bounces from the timeless classics to the revamped versions of much-loved songs, such as Night and Day, Route 66, and My Baby Just Cares. ?Swing into Spring? also features the talents of two of KZN?s rising Music Stars, Mark Schoeman and Tiffany Beaumont, as well as the vocal bliss of Penzance Primary School Choir.


The show aims not only to delight and entertain you, but also to raise money for The Sunflower Fund.
