Please find below a report from Mr BC Louw currently in Rwanda.

I am looking at the role of aid in primary health care - specifically aid received by Rwanda and granted by the Belgian government through the Belgian Cooperation. I will consider how Rwanda's health policy has been inserted into its Development policies more broadly. Following the genocide of 1994, the provision of effective mental health care, particularly, is essential for Rwanda in achieving its ambitious development goals. I will be meeting with local and international NGOs, and government officials.

I have attached a photo of the head of the Belgian Cooperation - Remo Meloni - and I whilst in Butare (the southern part of Rwanda). I will only have 'work photos' from the 8th December when I begin my fieldwork - if the one attached is not a suitable I can send another at that time.
