It was a very good day for Glenwood Hockey and Rugby teams on Saturday and all concerend must be congratulated on their focus and energy. Well done.

Despite the challenges that faced us yesterday, we decided to go ahead with the rugby fixtures. It was a wonderful day in the end and the boys, Parents, supporters and players must be complimented on the way that we hosted our visitors from Hilton.

Well done to Mrs Barnes and Mrs McNeill for the wonderful Monthers' Day Breakfast on Saturday morning and Ms Lisa Bobbert was a hit with the Moms. Ms Bobbert is a new Glenwood Parent and so it is good to have such supportive parents in our midst.

Thank you to the Glenwood Family and Mr Wayne Usher for supplying all of us with such a wonderful high tea.

Thanks to the grounds Staff for allowing our fixture to go ahead. Sorry - I will make it up to you, somehow!

Well done to all the players and to the School for their support. Thank you to the referees whom allowed the games to go ahead and also for trying hard to make out who was who in the mud!

There were cakes left over and so Mr Schwatz and I visited the Natal Settlers' Home for the aged and supplied them with cakes for tea. We also handed out roses to the special ladies on Mothers' Day. Thank you to the Parents for your support of our request for cakes. We shared the enjoyement with some elderly folk less fortunate than many.
