Earlys House

Jack Early was one of the original 24 boys who enrolled at the new Day Continuation School in August 1910.

When he left in 1914 his intention was to take up teaching as a career. Shortly after the war broke out, he joined up, later being killed in action at Salaita Hill during the East African campaign. He was described by his teachers as a “quiet, scholarly type of boy, intellectual and refined.”
