Theatre Against Poverty

The T.A.P. initiative was spearheaded by Mrs Barnes and Mrs C. Hampton to raise funds for the transport and feeding costs involved in our SMILE OUTREACH programme. Each year T.A.P. brings an evening of quality entertainment to Glenwood Boys High to be enjoyed by parents, friends, teachers and pupils. All proceeds go to SMILE.

The second annual Theatre Against Poverty evening took place at the Mike Turrel Pavilion on Wednesday 29 of April 2009. The show this year, "Stitch", was a humorous look at three women hiking in the Drakensburg. Despite a good advertising campaign the show played to a very small but appreciative audience.
