Tour to Affies in Pretoria - Saturday 31 July 2010.
This past weekend saw more than 600 boys and Staff travel to Affies in Pretoria to play sport in a number of different codes. This trip is part of the vision of the School to establish sustainable relationships with top schools around the country and around the world.
It was a tough day in Pretoria at altitude and after a long bus trip but the boys were great and I felt very proud to be a part of the passion that the boys displayed.
I had to explain to the boys and Staff on Monday that sometimes you learn much more from losing than you do from winning and planning for the future happened immediately upon our return to school.
Well done to the boys, Staff, Parents and supporters. What a day! I personally cannot wait for next here at Glenwood!
