Visual Art

The Art Department has undergone many changes at the beginning of 2009. The facilities have been revamped and the learners are now enjoying a very conducive environment for visual arts.

Visual art learners from Grade 10 – 12 are taught the skills and application of practical art. They have numerous demonstrations on the use of variety of materials and techniques required for the execution of their many practical assignments. These practical assignments open up a world of opportunities for the young artist in which he is able to express himself in his own creative way. It is therefore important that their young creative minds are stimulated and guidance is given throughout the process of performing these tasks.

In the area of the History of Art, our young artists are exposed to many aspects of the history of art and its arts throughout the times. It is often in this field that our young minds are inspired to create their own individualistic works of art.
