Not much is known of Ntando Zondi now, but that’s all about to change, dramatically!
Glenwood Cambridge learner Ntando Zondi has started filming for the upcoming epic drama series Shaka Ilembe where he is cast in the role of young King Shaka. Ntando excels in Glenwood’s Cambridge environment which provides the perfect platform for him to pursue his career as a talented young actor. Ntando will be joining Glenwood Old Boy @Mqondisi 'mq' Ngubane, one of the directors of the series, who will no doubt guide and mentor Ntando as they navigate the demanding production schedule.
Fellow Durbanite Angus Gibson, award-winning filmmaker and co-owner of Bomb Productions, is the conceptualiser of Shaka Ilembe which features a star-studded cast of the likes of Amazon’s Coming 2 America’s breakout star, Monzamo Mbatha, who plays Queen Nandi, Thembinkosi Mthembu starring as King Dingidwayo and Wiseman Mncube in the role of King Zwide. Isithembiso, eKasi and The Road actor Lemogang Tsipa will headline as adult King Shaka.
Glenwood stands ready to support Ntando on his road to pursuing his purpose and we join the entire community and city in wishing him every success.
