The memorial service for Toppy Hortop was held on 31 October 2024 at 11:00 in the School Hall.

In a heartfelt tribute, Toppy’s family rang the memorial bell. Later, on Dixons Field, retired Headmaster Mr. Mike Maher honoured Toppy with a moving tribute. His grandchildren then unveiled a memorial plaque, which the 1st XV Rugby team will touch as they run out of the change room, keeping Toppy’s legacy alive.
