Our Philosophy
At Glenwood, we recognise that learning extends beyond the classroom. We are committed to providing opportunities for boys to develop their full potential, discover their passions, and explore their unique talents.
Our diverse arts and co-curricular programmes encourage self-expression and creativity. Whether through drama, music, or visual arts, boys are able to fully utilise their gifts in ways that enrich their educational experience.
Drama plays a vital role in our arts programme, where boys gain valuable skillsin acting, production, and theatre management. The annual school play is the highlight of the drama calendar, showcasing our talented actors, many of whom participate in professional television series and productions beyond Glenwood.

Music is also an essential part of life at Glenwood. Our school band provides boys with a platform to express themselves musically and perform during school assemblies. The band also competes at both local and national levels.
In the visual arts, boys explore a variety of mediums, displaying their work at the annual art exhibition. This event celebrates their creativity and craftsmanship.
Beyond the arts, Glenwood students have many opportunities to give back to the community. Through the Interact Club, boys participate in meaningful service projects, such as the annual Christmas Drive for local children's homes. Additionally, our First-Aiders are trained to provide essential support during sporting events, and the Media Club ensures that school memories are captured through photography.
For those with an interest in technology, our coding and robotics programmes offer a chance to develop skills for the future, preparing the next generation of innovators and entrepreneurs.
At Glenwood, the arts and culture programmes are more than just activities—they are pathways to personal growth and future success. For some, these experiences will shape their careers and lives ahead.

Clubs & Societies

At Glenwood, boys are encouraged to actively participate in a wide variety of clubs and societies, providing them with the opportunity to explore their passions, discover new interests, and develop valuable skills beyond the classroom. Whether they are interested in academics, sports, arts, culture, or community service, there is something for everyone.
These clubs and societies are designed to foster personal growth, teamwork, and leadership, allowing boys to expand their horizons and gain real-world experience. From leadership roles in student councils to creative expression in music and drama, each activity provides a platform for boys to build confidence, learn responsibility, and make meaningful contributions to their school community.
Glenwood offers a range of clubs, including debating, chess, media, and first aid, as well as societies like Interact, which focuses on community service. Boys can also participate in coding and robotics, giving them the chance to develop tech skills that are essential in today’s world. By engaging in these activities, Glenwood boys are not only enhancing their academic journey but are also becoming well-rounded, versatile young men who are prepared for future challenges.
Being part of a club or society helps instil a sense of belonging and school spirit, fostering a deeper connection to the Glenwood community. Each experience, whether on the sports field, in a club meeting, or during a community outreach event, helps shape boys into responsible, thoughtful, and empowered individuals ready to make their mark on the world.
