CAPITAL DEVELOPMENT LEVY (CDL): GRADE 8

The Capital Development Levy (CDL) of R5 000.00 is a ONCE OFF payment and payable UPFRONT before the start of the school year and is not subject to discount. Bursary recipients will NOT be exempt from the payment of the Capital Development Levy (CDL).

CAPITAL DEVELOPMENT LEVY (CDL): - GRADE 9 – 12 (NEW PUPILS)

Capital Development Levy Fees are as follows:

Grade 9:    R4 000.00

Grade 10:  R3 000.00

Grade 11:   R2 000.00

Grade 12:   R1 000.00

EXISTING BOARDERS:

Existing Grade 9 – 12 boarders of 2026 will not be liable for the Capital Development Levy (CDL), provided the Capital Development Levy has been paid in full upon acceptance into Gibson House in prior years.

PAYMENT OPTIONS

Full fee payment before 28 February 2026 will qualify for the following discounts:

Less 5% - Early payment: Cash or EFT: R93 433.00

Less 3.5% - Early payment: ALL CARDS (Except Amex):  R94 908.00

Note: Early Settlement Discounts only apply to full fee paying pupils and not to bursary pupils, or to the  Capital Development Levy (CDL).

DEBIT ORDER / EFT

TERMLY – before the start of each term: R24 587.50

Note: Please ensure you have completed a Debit Order instruction form. The above payment amounts EXCLUDES the CDL as this is payable before the start of school.

NOTE: BOARDING FEES FOR 2026 ARE PAYABLE TERMLY AND PAYMENT  IS TO BE MADE AT THE BEGINNING OF EACH TERM.  PUPILS WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO RETURN TO GIBSON HOUSE IF THE FEES ARE NOT UP TO DATE FROM THE PREVIOUS TERM.

GRADE 8 & NEW BOARDERS – 2026 - IMPORTANT

On the day of your arrival at Gibson House, please ensure you bring a copy of the POP for the Capital Development Levy and the First Term Payment.

BOARDING FEES – PLEASE NOTE: Boarding fees will be due and payable per term in advance. Should the account be in arrears at the end of the term, the boarder will not be permitted to return to the Boarding Establishment until all fees are up to date.

FOOD LEVY:

A food levy is payable by Gibson House Boarders who are on a bursary. This amount will be payable monthly in advance.  (January & July levy will be half the amount and December there will no charge).

WEEKLY BOARDING

The fee for 2026 will be R6 000.00 per month and payable at the beginning of each month.

GIBSON HOUSE LAUNDRY

This is an elective service which is OUTSOURCED and offered to parents at a cost of R550.00 per month. The laundry fee is payable to the SERVICE PROVIDER in advance on a monthly basis.  NO payment, NO service.
